''Music for a New Society'' is a studio album by John Cale, released in September 1982 by ZE Records and Island Records. With the suggestion from ZE Records owner Michael Zilkha, Cale performed the album mostly improvised live at Sky Line Studios in New York City. In his 2000 autobiography ''What's Welsh for Zen?'', Cale described the recording of ''Music for a New Society'' as "tortuous";〔''What's Welsh for Zen? The Autobiography of John Cale'', by Victor Bockris and John Cale; page 198-201〕 AllMusic described the album as "among the most compelling music of his career; the open spaces of the arrangements are at once ambient and melodically compelling, and the songs have an emotional resonance that communicates on a deeper and more emotional level... Spare, understated, and perhaps a masterpiece." ==Gallery== John Cale at Aarhus Festival 2013, playing the album "Music for a New Society" (1982) Photos: Hreinn Gudlaugsson Image:john-cale_01.jpg Image:john-cale_02.jpg Image:john-cale_03.jpg Image:john-cale_04.jpg Image:john-cale_05.jpg Image:john-cale_07.jpg 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Music for a New Society」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
